Our chicken coops are built with Amish quality. Our products are warranted to last up to 50 years so when our customers order their new coop, they often add options to make it safer, warmer, and more convenient. After listening to thousands of customers tell us about the issues with their previous coops and their concerns for their new hen houses, we've come up with packages of standard options. Want something different, you can almost always get exactly what you want, so please call and talk to us when you have a question. We love to help!

We’ll start you off with the most popular options. We have added the epoxy floor and wire over windows in every package because so many customers get those. Remember that all our wire is resistant to predators and is galvanized and vinyl coated.

Our Coops can be customized in a myriad of ways but a couple of great features can set your coop apart from the others. We have cedar siding and shingles. We also have cupolas and weather vanes to add a stylish touch to our traditional Amish chicken coop. This package puts together the styling options that will make your coop truly yours.

Easy Clean Coop Options Package

The Best Way to Clean Your Coop - Easy Clean System

Raising chickens can be messy work. With our easy clean coop options package though, you can make routine cleaning and maintenance more convenient for you. This package offers several upgrades that will make cleaning out your coop much easier and less time-consuming than the standard option. This package includes an epoxy floor, double clean-out lids with litter trays, removable nesting box dividers, and a hinged run clean-out box.

One of the features included in this package is the epoxy floor. Cleaning is a breeze with this epoxy flooring that is resilient to damage and has a high tolerance for moisture. This smooth surface only has a little texture, making it a much better alternative to a porous wooden floor that will absorb much of the waste chickens leave behind. Save time cleaning up after your flock by getting the epoxy floor option for your coop.

Another feature we have included in this package is our litter tray with a cleanout lid. Instead of having to go through the entire coop and doing extensive cleaning, you can limit where your chickens’ waste goes with these litter trays. Chickens generally dispose of most of their waste while they are roosting, which is why we place these litter trays underneath the roosting bar. We also have a wire mesh that prevents the chickens from sitting in the litter tray and becoming messy. Simply clean out the litter tray once it gets full and then goes about your day. Make this part of your weekly coop cleaning and save yourself from work and stress later on.

If you have a run underneath your coop, this hinged combo run door allows for easy clean-up of the run. Because of the location of the run underneath the coop, this area is more likely to get dirty than other areas of the run.

Give yourself a break from the hard work of cleaning up your chickens for decades to come and upgrade to the Easy Clean Package option. You will save yourself so much time and frustration in the long run.

Warmth and Airflow

Happy Health Chickens - How the Experts Do It

Keeping chickens warm enough is a top concern for our customers located in northern climes with harsh winters. This package option includes the electric package, a heated roost, an advanced auto chicken door, and an insulated metal roof. Your comfortable and happy chickens will be able to remain productive even through a cold winter with this customization package.

Your chicken coop’s roof can help you manage the temperature of the interior of your chicken coop. The metal roof on the chicken coop will keep it cooler in the summer and retain heat inside your coop in the winter. Our insulated roofs not only look fantastic, but they will also keep your coop comfortable no matter what the weather. With this package, you can choose a coop with a metal roof or a shingled roof.

Keep your chickens warm and cozy with the Cozy Products Flat Panel Chicken Coop Heater.

This flat-panel poultry coop heater will keep your chickens warm in freezing temperatures for their comfort and to prevent frostbite to exposed areas, like on their combs and feet. This flat coop heater utilizes both radiant and convection heat while using a low wattage for more even warmth without the risk of overheating.  This heater also features a built-in thermostat for easy temperature maintenance and two heat settings so you can adapt your chickens’ environment to your local weather conditions. Easy to set up in any coop and energy-efficient this coop heater, uses 90% less energy than a regular space heater. Built with safety in mind, our heater greatly reduces the risk of a fire than a regular space heater. Don’t risk losing your flock by using a space heater in a highly flammable environment. Keep your chickens comfortable by using a heater that was built for the unique demands of a chicken coop.

All of our coops come with one ventilation lid along the back, but if you live in a hot or humid area you will probably want to put in additional ventilation lids. An extra ventilation lid will allow more airflow into your coop but will also have the ability to close when you need to trap the heat. Or you can add on an extra window to provide more visibility into the coop, extra airflow, to let in more natural light, or maybe just because you like the way it looks with more windows!

Safe Chickens

Keeping Chickens Safe

Security is the top priority for anyone who is raising chickens because chickens are extremely vulnerable to predatory animals. Protect your chickens safe from predators such as raccoons, hawks, owls, snakes, and rodents with our Super Secure package option that adds on our most popular security measures so that you can rest easy knowing that your chickens are safe at night.

One safety measure included in this package is a wire covering underneath the chicken coop. Keep rodents from chewing through the bottom of your chicken coop with our by adding galvanized steel, poly-coated 1/2′′ x 1/2′′  wire over the base of your chicken coop. Though this isn’t a common problem, when it comes to predators, it is always better to be safe rather than sorry.

Another safety measure in this package is a wire covering over the windows of your coop. Raccoons are crafty little predators and they look to exploit any weakness in your chicken coop. They often go to the windows and force their way in so they can raid your coop and harm your chickens. We use a galvanized steel, poly-coated 1/2′′ x 1/2′′ for standard wire over the windows that will resist the raccoon’s efforts to break into your chicken coop and harm your flock. This feature is a must-have if you like to keep the windows of the coop open to let in some fresh air and keep your chickens cool during the summer.

Our advanced automatic chicken door can be set on a timer so that you can keep all your chickens safe within their chicken coop once the sun goes down. That way you don’t have to worry about whether your chicken coop is closed up if you have to work late or you have some evening plans. We offer our advanced automatic chicken door in solar power with a backup battery option or an electric power option. The solar power option does require some assembly upon arrival since the panel is extremely fragile and will be damaged during the shipping process if it was installed on the chicken coop.

Get the Super Secure Package option so you don’t have to worry about your chickens being harmed by predators. Don’t leave the safety of your chickens to chance.

Lighting Packages

Check-In Light at Night and Steady Egg Production

While natural sunlight is great for illuminating your chicken coop, overcast days or needing to check in on your chickens at night will require another light source. Instead of struggling through the dark with a flashlight, why not just select one of the lighting packages that we offer, so you can safely and easily care for your chickens. We offer a lighting package in a standard electric option or a green solar-powered light option.

The Electric Package can be used to power the heaters and auto chicken doors that come with

the Warm Coop Options Package. Our Electric Package includes an industrial light, one receptacle, and a switch or timer. Many people use the included outlets to plug in a heated water bowl or their own space heaters on bitter cold winter days. As you are aware, fires can be devastating in a highly flammable environment like a chicken coop, which is why we take every precaution to make sure that the electric wiring in your coop is set up safely. The wiring we provide for you is professionally installed and secured.

The Solar Powered Light is available with a switch or timer that you can set to coincide with your schedule. It comes with a solar panel that will have to be installed by you after delivery, because of the high likelihood of it being damaged during the transit of your coop. The Solar Light Package will only generate enough energy to power a light in your chicken coop. You will not be able to use it to power a heater. In fact, heaters use so much power that we do not have a solar-powered heating option for your chicken coop. Customers who want the option of heating their coops will need to have electricity installed.
